Integrating Himachali Art into Functional Spaces

This project involved the aesthetic enhancement of the Dining Hall at the HP Secretariat, with a focus on celebrating Himachali heritage through thoughtful design and craftsmanship. The existing hot water pipe ducts were artistically concealed using traditional Himachali wood-carving patterns inspired by old Himachali homes, seamlessly blending functionality with cultural elegance.

Additionally, the retaining wall was revitalized with hand-crafted murals depicting traditional Himachali themes, reflecting the region’s rich art, history and architectural identity.
